IT 211 Project Deadline will be on March 19, 2011. Please burn your Flash advertisement in a CD together with an 1/4 index card. In the index card, write the members of your group.
You can submit your project as early as Wednesday, March 16.
All Projects must be submitted at the EDP.

Please group yourselves into 3 4 and select a project from the list below to implement. Please take note that each project can only be implemented by a maximum of 2 groups. Write your members and the project you want to implement on a 1/2 index card. Also write at least 3 projects (1 as your main choice, 2 as an alternate choice in case the first one is already taken). 1) Instruction Manual (how to use the front-end/back-end of your web application) removed due to time constraints
2) A working LIVE site (please register ahead)
3) Source Code (soft copy for defend, including db schema)

1) IT 322 Horoscope – October 14, 2010
Requirements: (Place it in a plastic folder)
Project Defense will start on October 14, 2010 up to October 16, 2010 those who did not submit their project on October 14 will not be given the chance to defend their project. Those who could not defend their project will be given a failing mark.
2) IT 413 CMS - October 16, 2010

- PHP Scripts (Frontend, Backend and CSS)
Download the website-evaluation and submit it to the company/firm your website is based from including a copy of the manual and cd. Those who did not get their project initially checked will not be accepted (checking will end on October 13, 2010). I will be confirming the scores I get from the one who evaluated your site, if I cannot contact that person then the scores will not be recorded. My grade will be based on how you defended your project so all of you must be complete upon submission.
Deadline for your Final Project (Horoscope) will be on October 14, 2010. I will be expecting the following features on your horoscope.
1) Date Verification (Invalid Dates should not be accepted)
2) Special Characters in entry
3) Horoscope Message should be randomized
Also, I will be checking the 1 remaining exercise for Semi-finals and Finals

Lecture time will be allocated for finish your project, we will meet only on our Lab Schedule.
Here is the sample CMS Project that I said I would upload. Your project would work similar to this. You can view it the frontend here. You can also access the backend in here. Admin access are the following

Your project must have the following functionality.
1) Create and Update contents or pages (items, products for E Store)
2) Create and Update links or menus
3) Settings Page for customizing Site Information like (Title, Logo, Slogan and other site information)
I will be expecting 70% completion by October 9, 2010.
Majority of the class has a failing mark for midterm. To those who want to pass the subject, prepare for a removal exam on Tuesday (September 14, 2010) @ laboratory time [8:00pm to 9:30].
Students who did take the midterm exam may take it on Monday (September 13, 2010 during lecture time) just prepare your excuse letter.
