IT 322 Announcement

Deadline for your Final Project (Horoscope) will be on October 14, 2010. I will be expecting the following features on your horoscope.

1) Date Verification (Invalid Dates should not be accepted)

2) Special Characters in entry

3) Horoscope Message should be randomized

Also, I will be checking the 1 remaining exercise for Semi-finals and Finals

1) Switch

2) Arrays

3) Loops

4) File Manipulation

Lecture time will be allocated for finish your project, we will meet only on our Lab Schedule.

IT 413 CMS Project

Here is the sample CMS Project that I said I would upload. Your project would work similar to this. You can view it the frontend here. You can also access the backend in here. Admin access are the following

User : admin
Password : password

Your project must have the following functionality.

1) Create and  Update contents or pages (items, products for E Store)
2) Create and Update links or menus
3) Settings Page for customizing Site Information like (Title, Logo, Slogan and other site information)

I will be expecting 70% completion by October 9, 2010.

IT 322 Announcement

Majority of the class has a failing mark for midterm. To those who want to pass the subject, prepare for a removal exam on Tuesday (September 14, 2010) @ laboratory time [8:00pm to 9:30].

Students who did take the midterm exam may take it on Monday (September 13, 2010 during lecture time) just prepare your excuse letter.

IT 322 Deadline for Exercises

Please complete all your exercise by September 4, 2010 (Saturday). I will be checking your account.

Please follow the following format

1.) Create a Main Folder with your Full Name [ex. Armand_Serenio] as the title

2.) Inside your main folder, create sub folders and title it according to the exercise number [ex. Exer1]

3.) Save you exercises (html, php and css) in the sub folder you create

Note: If I don’t see the folder structure in you account, I will not bother to check it or open any folders inside. Only the main folder and the subfolders will be opened.
